Chris LeBlanc has been a vital part of the Louisiana Music scene for over 25 years and was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame on August 25, 2018. This induction is a great honor to his life in music and service to the community.
Chris has played on countless recording sessions for many notable artists such as Bobby Charles, Dr. John, Lazy Lester, Kenny Neal, Luther Kent. His live performances range from Festivals, Theaters, Private Events & Select Nightclubs throughout America, Alaska and Europe.
Chris has been billed with many National artist such as; ZZ Top, Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr, BB King, Dr. John, Buddy Guy, Leon Russell & Brett Michaels just to name a few.
One of Chris most cherished musical moments was spending numerous days and nights at Dockside Studio in Maurice, Louisiana, recording what would be Louisiana music legend, Bobby Charles' last record entitled "Timeless". Chris was one of the arrangers and guitar players on the session in the good company of fellow musicians Sonny Landreth, the late Great Dr. John and Gerry McGee.
Chris recorded four full-length CD releases, his first in 1995 titled Volume One, his second titled Talent Show, his third titled Son Of The South, and fourth titled Starshine on his own label Sweetroll Records.
Recently, Chris is writing and recording music which resonates a Bluesy Retro-Soul sound of the south and pays homage to some of his greatest influences rooted in American Blues and Rock.
